Vegetal Oil Lubrication!
In the post above, I detail how vegetable oil lubrication can work! I have inserted below an enlarged version of the picture of the bicycle chain. This chain has been ridden 40 km under dusty conditions. Limited crud buildup is seen-red arrows. Some commercial vegetable oil based products include the Green Oil company; Orontas bike cleaner & Phil bio-lube. These are a little more sophisticated than the regular canola oil- and may be longer lasting and more penetrating in chain links etc. I have not tested them
